aking a stand is one of those actions that will change your life every time. Over the years I have made many of these types of stances and at the time I made many of them I was really acting from an unconscious mindset.

In other words I was taking a stand through ignorance, fear and my ego. Not really understanding the depth or reason why I was taking such a stance in the first place. In other words I was allowing others (people and thoughts) to dictate to me how I lived my life.

Examples of these types of stances are when you decide to quit your job, counter at full price when someone offers much less than what you value your home for, how much are you willing to make when negotiating your salary for a new job, leaving a marriage or longtime significant other because you have outgrown them in so many areas and they are holding you back from your dreams and how much are you willing to give up when accepting an offer from an investor in your company, etc.

As you can see there are many situations in life where you can take a stand for what you believe in. When done through a conscious mindset it truly can transcend your current situation because of how impactful it is on many levels. A conscious mind trumps a unconscious mind every time no matter what situation.

When you begin to realize this for yourself these taking a stand situations become effortless. There is no ego, no fear or ignorance clouding your judgment or reasoning. There is no scenario you can be manipulated into by another person when you master your mindset and thoughts. There is no action you can make that is a wrong choice for your growth. This is why you need to work each and every day on becoming more conscious minded in your daily decisions.

How do you become conscious minded? The first step is deciding that you want to operate from a conscious mind going forward. Then it's time to roll up the sleeves and get to work! It takes work to take back your mind and thoughts. It takes work to clear all your fears and put your ego in check. It takes work to put a plan into place and follow it each day until you have become conscious minded.

It's a constant tug a war situation that takes time and effort on your part to do the pain staking work that not many people want to do. They aren't willing to put themselves through this rigorous self initiated and monitored journey! This why those people who become conscious are able to maneuver and take a stand on any and all situations they chooses to without opposition of a unconscious minded individual.

If you're not conscious minded then take a stand today to decide to operate from a conscious mind going forward. I have a feeling if your reading this article it means you are meant to begin this journey now. If you already have begun the journey then this article is meant to reassure you from the bottom of my heart that the journey is worth it.

You will soon realize how easy life truly is when you control the thoughts you think especially when you come across a situation when you need to take a stand.
